This is the first move I have issue with. When you have the worst special teams in modern NFL history, you need to re-set the culture in a big way. This is a lateral move in achieving that goal. I am of the mind that this guy is Nate Kaeding Jr. and nowhere near the level of a Harrison Butker, who is the gold standard.

And it was kick when the Chargers were up 17-6 was the key one to me. At that point of the game, if Butker misses, because all of the kicks I think were 50+, at least two of them, if Butker misses up 17-6, the Chargers get the ball past the 40 with a chance to make it a two touchdown game with the way they were moving the ball. That guy was nails that day.

EDIT: Josina is reporting that Perryman is down to three teams. So another free agent could be out the door - that would make Henry, Vigil, Rayshawn and Perryman. Probably Taylor and Ingram to follow.

Kickers are a roll of the dice. In hindsight we should of kept Koo, who was a UDFA.
