    Thumbs Down: Sam Tevi

It’s reached the point where Tevi shouldn’t make the 53-man roster. After being permanently moved over to right tackle because he couldn’t hold up as a blindside protector, Tevi was routinely abused by the Vikings’ practice squad pass rushers in the second half.

Indianapolis would save over $2 million in cap space if they were to cut Tevi. At this rate, that seems like the smart option while rolling with Julien Davenport as their primary left tackle option behind Eric Fisher.
It pains me to say this, but...would Turnstyle Tevi be an upgrade over Nonassertive Norton?

That's an ouch. But probably true.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Tevi was the starter and Norton the backup. I think that answers the question.

Interesting that Tevi is 3rd rate with the Colts and a probable cut, and he could be the top backup OT with us...right there, tells u we need to draft more O-line...

I was a little excited when we got Norton since he had the XFL experience. It looks like NFL >>> XFL

I vote an emphatic yes. Tevi >>>>> Pipkins and Norton combined. Sorry. He is.

I should add more >’s but i feel bad for Pip and Nort. They are so bad at playing OT in the NFL. Either side, it doesn’t matter.

That's not saying much. We need to pickup someone better than Tevi if it's possible

There are not enough good offensive line to fill the starting lineups of 32 teams, so thinking we will get someone much better than Pipkins or Norton is kind of wishful thinking. Having said that, I’ve seen enough of both that I’d go for anyone else, thinking they could not be any worse.

                          Ok with me, who?

Also another OG capable of playing - to free up Feiler to slide out to back up one of the OT positions. That leaves us with only one OT position not backed up.
