Jenkins was a lot better as our single high FS than he was in the box.
He only played in the box last season because Derwin was hurt. Season before he played FS in front of Adderley while Teamer played SS.

However he feels is what it is. I just dont think safety is a big priority to be spending 10-12 mil on a guy like Johnson. I just think Jenkins can do it or draft a safety they are high on and save that money for a OL,CB or DL.

When the D is in sub packages, right? Who do we have or can we find to pair alongside Adderly or whoever is at FS, so that James doesn't need to be there?

Jenkins is OK as a deep safety. He is better in the box than he is as a deep safety IMO. The team is probably going to need to find someone better than him if Staley plans to go with the two deep safety scheme.

What? Give specifics on why RJ isn’t suitable to play a half field DS when he did very well @ a single high covering S2S?

RJ and MDavis are the only consistent coverage and turnover producers, 5 INTs each, in our secondary over the past 2 seasons.

Indeed. CL Cap hit wouldn’t be close to TTurner’s in 2021.

We can also sign multiple steady OL mid tier FA to 1/2 yr deals for Turner’s Cap hit.
