I was very excited when we landed Slater. I was very hopeful that he'd be a legit LT, but knew that if he didn't work there we had an awesome OG. That said, I was in favor of trading our #2 to go get Sewell. At this point Slater has absolutely outplayed Sewell and ASJ looks like a shutdown corner in the making.

He’s crushing it, and above is right its all about hi ability to move his weight quickly and effortlessly.

he should be getting some of those hands to face calls they keep slapping LAC with. Some of those long arm bitches are getting their long paws up under his face mask and wrenching his neck almost every down against him.

I think that the OL trainer he spent 2020 with can raise his rates through the roof. Slater is awesome and that guy may be the John Beck of OL now. Good for him.

For the 17th overall pick, the Raiders select Alex LeatherWood.

Looked like Rashawn had a couple miscues with Feiler tonight.

Agreed. Its going to happen and the Duhs have a good DL and were willing to test us with blitzes…we still put up 28 though.

key now is learn from it. Take the value out of it. For a rookie he has still be a phenom. Very glad he fell to us.

each week theres something new that he provides. This was by far his best game as a run blocker. The Raiders line had no answers from him and Fieler tonight highlighted by that Ekeler touchdown.

                  As per PFF

                  Offensive Line
Rookie Rashawn Slater continued his special start to his NFL career. On first review of the broadcast film, the former Northwestern standout earned an 80.0-plus PFF grade and allowed just one pressure in pass protection.

Guard Oday Aboushi was the only other Chargers offensive lineman with a PFF pass-blocking grade above 65.0 on first review. Matt Feiler and Storm Norton were both liabilities and combined for 11 total pressures allowed.

                      - 69-74 record
                      - 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
                      - Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure

                      - 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
                      - Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
                      - Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games

Thats an accomplishment for vets much less a rookie. Kid has so far earned enough for probowl consideration.
