Slater was my boy as I posted here repeatedly. He reminds me so much of Zach Martin on the Cowboys -- where I spent many years as a fan. So incredibly technically sound, so reliable, moves well on the second level.

For a running game that will rely on zone blocking, there might not be a better run-blocker for us in the draft, and he's going to be good, right from the start, as a QB defender.

    Great pick!

I just think it will be at G.
See, I think you are wrong. He will do more than "survive" at LT, he's a potential Pro Bowler.

I would even entertain Walker at #47.

Learherwood has Fluker feet and I really question someone who plays at Bama that long without getting way better technique.

High high are we really on Pipkins?

I think now we start stacking Staley’s D.
Our quarterback is a golden god.

Little at 47 is a good spot.

Spencer Brown in the 3rd would also be a good pick.

                    Jenkins still there.

So you think Slater is a guard.... earlier you said an all pro guard.... but that’s a B grade? An all pro is a B? What is an A grade for you?

You are definitely in the minority opinion on this one. Even if Leatherwood stays, how good will he be? If Slater slides in, how great will he be? I think it's a net win for us either way.

                        Time will tell.

Ok, now Holland in the 2nd, best cb at 3a, and the ND G in the 3b
