With yesterday's "defeat" of the Patriots, the Chargers will win 4 of their final 6 games. That won't get them in the playoffs, but it will be enough for the Spanoses to decide Staley deserves one more season.

They have only beaten Kirk Cousins and FOUR backup QBS

No it won't. If we don't make a playoff run the team will clean house. And to make a playoff run we need to win out, so while no team on our remaining schedule is looking particularly difficult, the odds are long...

I agree with Big Bad - I don't see them making the playoffs. I just seeing them winning enough games to really screw themselves of a really good draft pick. Now I understand the players want to win game, the coaches, playing for pride. I get that. But really, 6-11 is better than 8-9

I don't understand why fans want their team to lose to improve their draft position. Do you really want a coach or players on your team who are comfortable with losing, who try to lose? I don't. I want my coach/players to never give up trying to win. Draft position is irrelevant.

I don't want the players or coaches to quit. I just hope they lose at this point. They don't have a 3rd round pick this year so they REALLY have to nail the 1st and 2nd and the higher it is maybe the better chance at not screwing it up/

I didn't say that - I don't want the players or coaches to quit. Not at all
I was rooting for them yesterday and I will root for them to beat the Broncos and Raiders the next couple weeks and the Broncos and Chiefs later on

The Chargers should have a 3rd round pick -- Telesco never trades them so where did it go?

And another reason I wouldn't be upset with 6-11 as Telesco and Staley need to go. They just need to go

That doesn't mean players or coaches quitting - I want them busting it this week, doing their jobs. But the last three wins for the Chargers have been fools gold wins. And I don't trust the Spanii - so for me, it needs to be absolutely a terrible season for them to move on

Jordan Schultz said that Staley will be fired barring a miracle. He is supposedly and inside reporter. If that is to believed, people will get what they want.
