YOU. clowns are talking to ME about history? KC runs the West Coast Offense, which was developed by Sid Gillman of the Cincinnati Bengals. Yeah you're real historians. LMAO!

Wow, pointing out a typo. That shows how little you rubes have to talk shit about.

I bet that old tarnished AFL trophy is lonesome in that trophy case all by itself. You should consider downsizing

The Chargers were one of the first dominant teams in the AFL, winning a championship in 1963, before any other team in the division won anything. Those Chargers challenged the NFL champion Bears to what would have been the first Super Bowl, but the Bears declined, knowing that the Chargers probably would have beat them. Try learning a little bit of history before you post, it will make you look smarter.
Riiight. The Bears, were skeered of,you. SMH.

That would be like the Rams(you know, LAs good team) passing on playing the New Jersey Generals Why bother?

I don't think that is correct. Gilman was a down field guy, I think West Coast offense was Bill Walsh. Much later than Gilman. Walsh was the QB coach I think of the Bengals at the time and then became the Niners HC.

Not that I really care. I only care about this upcoming season.

Regards this pissing contest, I think there’s some tile in the corner over there, doesn’t have any pee on it yet, if somebody could take care of that that would be awesome.

Sid Gilman never coached the Cincinatti Bengals.

You're right, I stand corrected. See, unlike some people on here I admit it when I'm wrong . Appar2ntly the article I read was misinformed

Regardless, Andy Reid is a disciple of the WCO which was developed by Bill Walsh, Walsh, not Don Coryell, so I wasn't the only one wrong. But I'm sure I'll be the only one admitting it

Gilman, Walsh, Al Davis, and John Madden all came from the Chargers.

The WCO is a different variation of Air Coryell is all.

Walsh was trained in the vertical passing offense favored by Al Davis, putting Walsh in Davis' mentor Sid Gillman's coaching tree.
