I thought a loss was a loss? Doesn't matter what the score was or the circumstances? Now it's OK to imply that the chief's got lucky?
    - I assumed you meant a Chiefs Charger game from last year. was that wrong of me? apologies if i was off, thats what I was referring to.

Which QB named Jim was drafted by the Patriots, traded to the 49ers, jettisoned by the 49ers after being injured all the time, then signed by the Raiders?

      Plunkett or Garoppolo?

And one of them was actually a good qb who never got to play for a good team until he got to Oakland. Pluunket is a good guy. Both parents were blind. Grew up poor. Was a great college qb who played for two teams that let him get the crap beat out of him.

Ha - good catch. I hated Plunkett - he ALWAYS seemed to be at his best against us.

I played Pop Warner in Nor Cal when Plunkett was winning the Heisman at Stanford. He was like God to us. His NFL career was a disappointment. He was OK not great with the Patriots and his two seasons with Niners were trainwreck, then becomes the backup in Oakland, then a few games into the 1980 season he comes off the bench and leads the Raiders to a SB title, beating the Chargers in the process. I can't hate him, but I sure had mixed feelings about him winning with the Raiders.

When Plunkett went to Oakland his career was rejuvenated. I as well liked him in college. I have to admit he played one hell of a game in the Super bowl..That was against the Eagles.

I remember telling my neighbor never bet against the Raiders in the SB. He took the Eagles. Needless to say he lost some money.

Painful to watch Trey Lance on the niners. Maybe with a better oline he might be a bit better but he is really slow in decision making and takes too much time getting rid of the ball. Even Sam Darnold looks light years ahead of him at this point in time. I get the feeling this will be the last time the 49ers use three first round picks on a player for a long time.

Still, … 60-70% of the stadium is 9’er fans trekking to watch a PS game = fucking weirdos
