They take top 5 QB in the league, with plenty of strong players on that team they are definitely a PO contender.

Denver looks scary on paper for me.
    KC is a powerhouse.
Raiders were to PO last year.

We have TT so ye nothing to be worried.... We will build through DRFT yeee...
Offering a huge contract to a....
    1. small, mobile qb who has endured a lot of hits over his career
    2. had a down year last year
    3. will be 33 next season

    There is some risk.

I'm not in the he's on a downward slide camp......I like the move for Denver. He's operated at a high rate with sub par Oline's before.
I still remember the 'we welcome Peyton Manning to Denver' reaction.

If Denver's D is very good next year, Denver will win a ton of games in the final 12 minutes with tiring defenses chasing Wilson.

A minor point - he is already 33 and turns 34 in November.

During Rivers last year we would have been ecstatic to get Wilson, he will make a huge difference for Denver. Luckily there is enough time so the chargers can make serious upgrades to be competitive in what is now the toughest division in the NFL. If we stand still we will be passed by, don’t be delusional and think no big deal. Kansas City is the leader and have a bit of a cushion but Denver has made a huge push, Raiders not so much. The Chargers have the money to improve the defense and need to do it with both Wilson and Mahomes to go against twice a year.

A high and pass rusher to go with Bosa and a cornerback to solidify coverage in free agency. Combined with depth added through the draft. If we rely just on the draft that will not be enough. This happens year after year, the money is there and it needs to be used.

Haha. I heard two Raider fans, employees at Trader Joe's, talking about the Wilson trade. They're like, "dude, it means every season we have face Mahomes twice, Herbert twice, and Wilson twice. It's not fair."

Still, being a Turd fan means multiple felonies, does Trader Joes not conduct background checks?

Denver is going through a transition in coaching and losing their D coach in Fangio. Its tough to start over even with a good qb in Wilson. They are going to hit some bumps along the way and this division is no easy cake walk.

Raiders probably overachieved last year and are also starting over. New offense and new defense. I think they backslide frankly.

we need to make a few moves to get the D shored up and we are right where we need to be.
