Didn't help that we threw a INT in the EZ and another pick 6 that killed us. Though we were in trouble before that one. He had 3 others INTs that were dropped by the defense.
Just not s good day for Herbert.
We need OL,DL and CBs bad.

Sure, just like multiple picks from every team every year. I have not heard any rumors that TT is on the hot seat other than from a few vocal posters here. I still think that drafting Slater and Herbert along with hiring Staley gives him at least another year - if not more.
They pretty much went into this year with no backups along the Oline.
Planning for next year with the abysmal depth at Oline/corner, as if injuries never happen to these positions;
so you replace Palmer for Williams, & McKitty for Cook.....that probably makes them a lesser team next year by itself;
but Telesco has all that money that he can roll over to resign Herbert and add some coupon bargains in free agency:woot:
He'll get another year, and then another, and then another.....when does he need to produce?
If it doesn't happen next year under the guy, it will never happen.

He may be getting tired of being on a second-rate team that never seems to get enough decent players to turn our D into a solid force...if Derwin leaves, that leave a huge hole in our D...

If we were more balanced,
meaning run vs pass
and
solid Oline left and right side,
Lombardi would be deemed "smarter"
and Herbert more "elite."
Oline right side.
Oline depth, health.
RB #2.
Note that we are once again at the point in a given season where EK is chewed up some from overuse.We do not play modern football.
