But they also missed a roughing call on the Raiders in the 1st half when Herb got smacked in the face after the pass.

I don't think any rational person can say that was an evenly called game.

Got smacked in the face and was hit below the knees a few times on those 4th quarter drives.

Not even close to being called evenly. I have talked to plenty of NFL fans, not Charger fans, about the game and without prompting they have said things like "you almost think it was rigged". This is a tipping point. The NFL's legitimacy is at stake. When Tony Dungy, a purely objective and respected broadcaster, says there were "wrong" calls that cost the Chargers 10 points you know there's a stinking hot turd laying at Goodell's doorstep.

Very close. One more year (he said with a plastic bag over his head). Yeah, one more year. Because I want to believe that Staley can do better things for our defense with his guys. And if TT goes then Staley could also. Maybe this off-season could be the ticket. Could just be a pipe-dream but I do like how Staley has helped some bad players get better on this roster this year. That's all I'm happy about with Staley. He (and TT) have GOT to get us into the playoffs next season and with an actual defense.

Problem is we have a weak owner and soft HC. Staley should have been all over those refs to get an explanation on that PI. Those types of calls don't happen to NE, Dallas or other big boy franchises.
