On the offensive side of the ball, all five writers are in complete agreement except that one (Reedy) thinks Kampmoyer will make it as a 4th TE.

On the defensive side, there is more disagreement:

Fehoko: 2 of 5 (Cothrel and Popper)

Covington: 3 of 5 (Thiry, Miller and Reedy)

Jamal Davis: 2 of 5 (Cothrel and Thiry)

Niemann: 4 of 5 (all but Thiry)

Ogbongbemiga: 3 of 5 (Miller, Popper and Thiry)


I didn't realize that Jamal Davis is 27 years old and the Chargers are the 7th team to have brought him in for a look:

Poppers commentary on Bandy not making it is that he can only play slot receiver and we have too many receivers who can play the slot along with outside so he is a luxury we don’t have a spot for.

I predict Sarell will have a job on Wednesday morning. The need at OT is that great in the league.

Guilty as Charged feeds off Poppers among others as well as own analytics (Arjun) do best overview imo, also don't have Bandy making roster (very same reason) from waivers to another team, which is why I'm keeping eye on Bradford to make PS in place of Bandy.

I know Nabers worked out with the TEs a few times this camp, likely because they didn't have enough bodies there.
but I wonder if he has a future there, maybe not with us, but he can block and make a few easy catches.
Hope we've done due diligence.

Would not be surprised if Nabers does make the team and Horvath goes to the PS. Both are marginal players.

Id like the new discussion regarding the roster to take place in a our main charger 2022/23 thread. When that is created. Or i might just use the Camp thread as our official start of the season thread and change the title. Has a nice little foundation of posts. And it was started by Bolt O who is battling. Its MOJO marinated.

I'd like to see Nabers stay due to he is Herberts good friend and they like to cook the victory brisket together.


I know that is no reason to keep him but I want to keep Herbie happy.
