And its not like Mahomes had to thread the needle or make a great play.
Roll back the clock, and K.C. would have set up a makeable field goal again.

You have really got to hand it to the Bills.

That talented defense may have been the worst coached defense I have ever seen. What does Mahomes do really well? He makes great plays when gets outside of the pocket. He is entirely average in the pocket.

So, what did the Bills do all game? Failed to contain Mahomes, who got outside of the pocket virtually at will.

Then, with 13 seconds left, the Bills had a mental lapse of gigantic proportion by failing to kick the ball high and short. The kickoff alone would have taken half of the remaining time. They would have had time for one play before the final play of regulation at most, and maybe only one play altogether from scrimmage. What was KC going to do? Fair catch it at the 5-10 yard line?

Instead, the idiot Bills let the Chiefs have the ball with no time running off of the clock.

And do they trust their #1 ranked defense not to give up 45 yards in 13 seconds? No. Instead, they played the dumbest prevent defense I have ever seen--I mean ever, which is saying something since I am a Chargers fan.

Why wasn't Hill doubled much less left completely undefended? It is not as if he is incapable of catching a ball in space and making a huge play. Why did they leave Kelce completely wide open?

It took the dumbest sequence of special teams and defensive plays basically ever for the Bills to lose that game. Just stupid play call after stupid play call.

The Bills had to learn the HARD WAY! Don't leave mahomes more than ten seconds on the clock and all their timeouts when all they need is a field goal

When the Chiefs scored their last regulation touchdown with a little over a minute left on the clock, I thought they might have scored too early and Josh Allen would have enough time to burn the Chiefs' defense for a score. But I didn't think with 13 seconds left the Bills had scored too early themselves. But Buff's defense was just too tired to stop Mahomes, Hill and Kelce, on the final drive in regulation with 13 seconds left and in overtime.

It had zero to do with BUF being tired. BUF gave the game away by failing to kickoff short of the end zone and forcing half of the time off of the clock or a fair catch very deep in KC territory. And then they backed that up with a double dose of stupid prevent defense. BUF was coached right out of the playoffs. It was awful to see that display of incompetence from BUF.

How can they fail to understand that by kicking short, Mahomes would have had one pass at best to get into FG range from somewhere around his own 25? He wouldn't get 3 plays in 7-8 seconds. Since one play has to be the FG, that would have left one play at most to get into FG range, a play that has to go for a good 35 yards or so to give them any chance.

Then, just play regular known pass situation defense. What could be more obvious?

Seriously, every team in the NFL ties the game with the Bills at that point. .And it never happens of the Bills do a kickoff short of the end zone that eats at least half of the time off of the clock.

Anyone notice on the Bills first drive, they went for it on 4th down TWICE? But BOTH times, they dialed up some creative plays:

1. 4th down at midfield...Allen takes it on a designed run to the right side behind a couple of blockers. Easy first down.
2. 4th down in the red zone. Allen pitches it out to Singletary around the left side with wideouts blocking...TD...

Note to StaLombo: These plays might work better on 4th down than Ekkie up the gut vs. a stacked box for nada...

Given that we were better than most at 4th down calls and plays, I can excuse a few mistakes. Especially since the Bills have their own 4th down blunders that I can point out.

Neither one of these teams has anything to hang their heads about! It was like watching Ali and Frasier go toe to toe Blow to blow!

Special teams already got burned by Tyreek. They beat you with speed, especially late in the game.

Bottom line, no defense should give up 45 yards in 10 seconds.

The chiefs had to leave points on the field to make that game what it was. A missed EP, missed FG and then not capitalizing on Hill's punt return with the most ridiculous of 3rd down plays. They made mistakes but got away with it. Buffalo played nearly perfect ball until the last 13 seconds. Allen was fantastic. They couldn't cover #13.
