The gambling is just stoopid and it makes the games seem fixed sometimes. The current game is so diluted with the rules, the LOFT, and shitty owners that care only about the money. I'm not sure what the nfl is trying to accomplish other than to make money for the owners.

The game IS fixed.

the issue with online gambling is that your average joe who would never throw around a lot of money in a casino can sincerely lose a lot money gambling online. a friend of mine just completely fucked herself with online gambling. she would never set foot in a casino.

This so 100 percent true. It won't be long until we start reading about a gambling epidemic, people ruining themselves financially because gambling is so addicting, and now it is so easy. As you say, people who would never go to a casino can get sucked in so easily. There's a reason so many companies are getting into online gambling, it's very, very profitable. And all that profit is coming from people who are betting and losing. They don't make a profit when bettors win.

this is all a money grab. society did not NEED more gambling. it was not UNFAIR that we did not have online gambling. it is doing so much more harm than good. the people who stood to make money somehow greased ($$$) this into existence.

for the record, i love to play poker when i am in vegas or at the card rooms in california, but i have seen the destruction it has done to some people.
