Not technically an empty nest because i moved to my 2nd home in Kauai....but i sure am feeling the hurt of not seeing. them and talking to them often. I was a hardcore dad. I was really tough as a coach for my son and Rugby...and making sure my kids got good grades and into college. I think they were really ready for a less stressful scene. I felt they had accomplished the goals i wanted them too. We had been together for the last 15 years or so while there mother was sort of traveling and trying to find herself. She is a really free spirit and did the whole hippy commune and psychedelic quest. Finally found her soulmate and had another baby. Which is great we are still good friends. But i was really doing it alone over the last 15 years so leaving that situation has been hard. Ive had really bad days here with depression. I was so dependent on seeing them....hugging them. Just the daily interactions man. I miss them.

A stop at Roberto's.
Don't recall what thread the other Roberto's talk was at so here it is.
Carne Asada Nachos and Rolled Tacos with guac and sour cream. They really packed on the beef on the nachos. Not my idea of nacho cheese tho
