I want Derwin to turn it around the same way that KA did. I want him to have spectacular games that will help lift this team up from its mediocrity.

I really hope KA has a secret to recovering from injuries that he can share with Derwin; if not a secret, some advice. KA is a resource in this area as his story is uniquely fortunate.
I can't imagine they haven't had dozens of conversations about this already.

This is what threw me off. lol I have been so caught up in the Padres that i just quickly glanced over his career. He has missed so much time i really know very little about his production. I just know hes great when he can play.

Yes. He does get an additional $20 million this year if I’m reading the details right. But it’s a four year extension, not 4 year contract.

Medical conditions...diseases...etc. I see them as different than soft tissue, ligament damage and tears etc. lol Burrow has had a few also.

Derwin has a rep for injury. I really hope im not the only one that see it. You have to pay the guy. Its just sketchy and risky. But thats why he dropped in the draft im certain. It was the injury scares. Big part of it at least.
