I expect the Chargers to come out this year with this QB coupled with the stars on the team, dominate the lesser teams and to pay neck and neck with KC and beat Denver and the raiders handily. This is the year we spread our wings and fly.... And play for a championship. Period explanation point.!
I am in lockstep electricgold !
The one exception is StaleyD's counter moves, or lack thereof.
We do not play modern football.

        100% TOTALLY AGREE!!!
(Though having a few countermoves would also be kind of helpful...)

At KC week 7 looks improbable with it being a short week for us and long week for them. Reid and his impressive record with extra time to game plan.
still, if we can steal that game, that would be a huge.

"Doesn't matter what Staley's counter moves will be..."

            ????????

For starters, what about HalfTime adjustments ?

The games are almost always very close.
Coaching will make a huge difference throughout the season,
whatever mindset anybody thinks we should have, in Staley's third year.

Yep...I thought the Bolts did a poor job of in-game and halftime adjustments in a lot of key games last season...hopefully Moore improves on this for our O...it's our D I'm concerned about...we've got a mostly inexperienced figurehead DC in Ansley as Staley makes the calls and how'd that work out last year? Staley needs to prove he can both game manage AND run the D at the same time...and if he can't, hire an experienced DC who can...

Ansley coached DBs 13 years in college, 5 years NFL. The players like him and so do I. He brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the job. Roughly 180 degrees different from coach Hill. Ansley's DBs were a top 10 unit last year. Probably why he got promoted.
                The run D killed us.
That I blame on Tillery, who was cut, Bosa and Austin Johnson who went on IR, depth Otito who went on IR,Tranquill and Murray who had other issues.
This year- new MLB Kendricks, rookie ILB Henley, New LB coach Howard, new vet DL Williams, returning healthy starters, rookies DE Tuli, DT Matlock,
may be rookie NT Clark, healthy Otito will be tasked with run D. There will be improvement.
KC is just average on D. How did that work for them?

Defensive halftime adjustments? Grab a healthy looking dude outta the stands?
Hopefully we have some depth that can play this year.
With the O specializing in 3 and outs in the second half, "here we go again " comes to mind.
Get the O to act like they still have a pulse in the 3rd quarter a time or two.

Wow I saw more of Spiller in that video than I did all season last year. Derwin looks like his in for big year. Just need health from the OL and Herbert this year and this offense can carry us a long way. Btw who's #6 and #12?
