His greatest achievement will be the greatest achievement in NFL history, which is to bring home a superbowl trophy.
many qbs have led their team to superbowls, but what he is facing is UNChargering, or redefining it.
You could argue that a similar achievement is possible in Detroit or in Cleveland but not after you factor in being in division with all time great QB in the middle of a potentially, historic dynasty.
Herbert will have to overcome all of this en route to becoming the Charger GOAT.

Chargers need to put some double digits wins up there year. So many nail biters. I mean, against TN - they were playing with the backup to Tannehill and that backup was replaced by Josh Dobbs off the street - and they barely won 17-14
How many times last year - get the ball at the half ahead by 7 or even 3 - a chance to make it two scores and a quick three and out.
