My way premature guess : 11 - 6 and a playoff win.
We continue to improve.
Problem is TT has invested too much cap in positions that do not warrant it. We should have invested that money in trenches. That is how you win on the NFL (see KC). Now we will be paying JH $50M a year (which is a good problem to have). With our roster and coaches we are avg at best. TT went all in last year and wiffed. Expect a new GM to do a major redo in 2024 (JC, DJ, Bosa, MW will need to reduce their cap numbers or will be gone). Unless Spanos let's it ride again.

I am not discounting the gambling issue but either one of these was a bridge too far. He did both.
Minnesota
The Minnesota Vikings violated the NFL’s salary cap policy and were punished with the loss of a draft pick. How will this affect Rick Spielman?
Cowboys & Skins
Washington was penalized $36 million in salary cap space and Dallas $10 million for structuring contracts in 2010 to gain an unfair advantage.

they kicked DeBartolo out of the league because he was a convicted gambling bribe felon. Not the “cap violation” that occurred a full 6 years earlier.

Do not ever quote the NY Times as a source. It only reflects poorly on you.

FYI, this article wasn't an opinion. It's rooted in facts and backed up by various other sources.
Give me the story that says DeBartolo paid money under the table.
Give me the story that says DeBartolo was kicked out of the NFL and forced to sell because
of cap violation. You can't because there is none.

NY Times is not trustworthy, IMO. I'll have to find some other sources that agree with them before I'd ever believe them. But then, who cares all these years later.THE YEAR OF THE FLIP!

Debartolo still denies the NFL forced him out in 1999. He says it was a business / family decision that he would part ways and cede the team to his sister. He was suspended by the NFL for a year in ‘98 due to his casino bribe case, he maintains he could have been reinstated but decided on his own to walk away.
The ‘94 SB salary cap shibboleth was much earlier and no, NFL wasn’t chasing him down a half decade later due to a cap violation by team front office personnel who actually did the clever accounting.“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”

And their story has been collaborated. There have interviews with Carmen Policy himself and clearly has explained
how they got around the cap. Read the story. They have specific example on specific players and what they did.
Where are the stories contrary? There aren't any. Just a bunch of rumors floating around by jealous fans and
sport fanatics.
