Agree with your points.
But you also absolutely need an assassin at QB, especially one who doesn't miss 2 wide open TDs in a playoff game.
I also don't think you necessarily need the #1 ranked rushing attack. You just need to be able to run...when you want to...and when it matters.

Who were the leaders tonight ?
Mahomes and Chris Jones.
Everyone else was pretty much new and tagging along.
A short sighted pep talk does not serve us well in '24 and beyond.

If you can guarantee me that Bosa will never be able to play close to a full season again and we can get a pass-rusher possessing talents anywhere between a Frank Clark and Micah Parsons with Seattle's 20th pick or a second-rounder I will gladly say goodbye to Bosa. You can't, though, because it's just as likely we will ultimately trade Bosa for a Jerry Tillery or Kenneth Murray under those circumstances.

Will Herbert miss Allen if he goes? Probably. Will he adjust and do just as well by replacing that production with a first-round pick wide receiver or Joshua Palmer and a mid-round pick? Probably. It's not much different than when Brady lost Wes Welker and the Patriots planned to replace him with Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman, which eventually led to Edelman taking over the role and the Patriots winning three Super Bowls between 2014 and 2018--after not winning any with Welker.

We'll see what they come up with but the front office needs to be better.
The Chiefs had 2 rookies and a mid season trade score TDs in the SB win for them tonight.

I also think Pete Carroll would have Telesco on his Christmas card list for eternity if we gave him Bosa after he had Uchenna Nwosu produce a by far career-high 9.5 sacks last season.
Myself i dont sweat letting Uchenna go. He didn't produce well for us and 10 mil a year is steep for hope. Good for him, maybe that was the fire under his ass he needed.
Being a GM isn't easy but it's easy to play the game of it after the fact.

TT/Staley MUST have a philosophical discussion about roster building and about culture.
Are we better served with elite, expensive bookends at EDGE (and WR for that matter), or are we better off having talent across the board, with weaknesses that are few or none ?
This draft is very deep at EDGE and DB, the positions that Derwin and Bosa play.
This off season we have an opportunity to upgrade at the vital positions of RB and TE.
Sure, Joey can train and have a monster 2023 season. Alternatively, Kelce was able to get separation from the supremely athletic Derwin at crucial junctures.
There is a whole lot to get just right. After a long season, the Super Bowl was a three point game.We play modern Harball.
