Worth a shot. I like it! Lamp & Feeney were the only ones more excited than coach Lynn when TT drafted them. Pipkins is picking things up like maybe somebody knew what they were doing when TT used a 3rd. It would make this year all the more special if our OL choices get it done.

Scho has been flying under the radar too long...he's like the Jatavis Brown of OT's...good enough to get by at times, but gets exposed frequently...time for an upgrade...Magic Lamp, please...

Well, you have most of that line right here...Scott at LT and Pip at RT...just move Feeney over from C to his old position at LG, Pouncey at C, and shift Magic Lamp from LG to RG...I'd like to see the whole unit of Scott - Feeney - Pouncey - Lamp - Pip play at least a few series our last PS game...and BTW, that's a pretty good-looking pocket there...

Some of the Q&A from Popper a few days ago. I'm mainly posting the answers regarding OL and the tackles.

A few people asked about Trent Williams:

The Colts don't have any really experienced edge rushers who will scare anyone. Darius Leonard is an effective blitzers, but he can attack the line anywhere. If we had to have a game with Tevi and Scott starting, the Colts is a pretty good group.

I think Popper is kinda stupid about the cap hit. The going forward part is fine, but who cares at this point in the season if the OT take up a huge part of the cap?

There is an argument to be made about rolling over some of the cap for next year, but that is not what he is saying. Plus, that is only a band aid fix on the cap, since it only helps temporarily.

He says you don't want to spend too much in a single area, but that is so you don't put too much in one area at the expense of another. Who else would we be able to spend it on?

We need to keep a reserve to sign guys off the street or vet FA, but you can get that by cutting/not paying Gordon.

The extension of what Popper is saying is that we would also not consider a FA, since there is no FA who is an upgrade over TEvi we could afford for Trent Williams salary. We would likely get a much worse player for a lot more money if you went the FA route.

That's kind of what i've thought. good comparison to JB - he's a guy who seems like he's got the skills and experience, yet he keeps standing out not in a good way.

I could see Feeney and Lamp as starting OGs with Scho a backup.

                      You are correct, Sir.

I felt compelled to go full Bill O'Reilly on this thing.
