I understand the frustration, but to think that GM's ONLY work 3 months a year????

Right, somebody needs to walk down the hall and wake TT up. He has been in a slumber since the draft.

TT doesn't make significant mid season acquisitions. It's not his MO. He rolls with what he's got, guys from the scrub squad.

Our GM and coaches have many similarities.

Yup. And this is exactly why we have been stuck in perpetual no man's land purgatory.

The team needs to decide if they're in win now window or rebuild mode. Can't keep sitting in between or all you will get is mediocrity with potential for an occasional over achieving season.

I understand but obviously that is not working as is growing through the draft when your picks are not playing.

Talk to the owners who continue to run the status quo. Chargers have been either crap or mediocre for many years now, with a sprinkle of playoff appearance once in a while to give the fans just enough hope that we are turning the corner.

They failed miserably to build upon the success of last season and now people think they are going to pull off a major trade?

                    Not going to happen.

Yep. Don't hold your breath guys. A major move from the Chargers before the trade deadline or anytime during the regular season, would be an earth shattering event.

its not the GM that is the problem its ownership who are way too conservative. just look at the history of this team with them as ownership they haven't done shit.

whats going to happen like usual is they're gonna sit on their ass and lose value on their own players and get nothing for them.

                        the treadmill of mediocrity

I agree that the owners again are the biggest issue. The same decisions have been made repeatedly now over the span of 3 Head Coaches.

                          Only 2 ways this changes:
                          1. Owners sell
                          2. Lil Jonny says enough is enough and decides to get aggressive and let some real football minds run the show

                          Both far fetched.
