True but you will face the wrath of the football gods if you don’t let Rivers go out on his terms. Took the Rams a decade to recover from cutting Warner.

Bottom line: No matter how good Riverboat Rivers does at times, his Gamblin' Gunslinger ways are losing us games. A lot of games. Sorry, bench him. Next man up. Accountability. Leadership. Wisdom. All three traits, unfortunately sorely lacking in PR at the most critical times...

He showed all that in the first game vs Indy.

Rams went 13 years without having a winning season and their demise started when they cut Warner. The curse was lifted the year Kurt was inducted into the HOF. Coincidence? I think not.

At least 2 out of the last 3 seasons will be above .500 and 3/3 if we can get on a roll. That’s not where we want to be but it’s not horrible either.

Fire Rivers and horrible will happen. You can count on it.

No, that’s not the way the curse works. The one terminated needs to have been the face of the franchise for several years.

You're right. I was speaking in absolute terms, and that's something I try to avoid.

There’s a lot of fear going on and not sure why.

I find this thread humorous as more than half the teams in the league would insert Rivers as their starter day 1. I understand we have a fed up Rivers/Chargers fan posting this but it's ridiculous. It's like saying Tyrod Taylor is better than 20 plus some starters in the league.

These are the teams that definitely wouldn’t

                          01. Patriots
                          02. Baltimore
                          03. Texans
                          04. Chiefs
                          05. Seahawks
                          06. 49ers
                          07. Rams
                          08. Packers
                          09. Lions
                          10. Vikings
                          11. Saints
                          12. Falcons
                          13. Panthers
                          14. Cowboys
                          15. Eagles

                          These teams are also doubtful

                          16. Raiders
                          17. Browns
                          18. Steelers
                          19. Cardinals

These teams might wanna stick with their guy but are probably 50-50

                          20. Bills
                          21. Jets
                          22. Giants
                          23. Jags

                          Which leaves

                          24. Dolphins
                          25. Bengals
                          26. Colts
                          27. Titans
                          28. Broncos
                          29. Redskins
                          30. Bears
                          31. Bucs
