But that still doesn't change the consensus pre draft rankings and how he has been drafting players too high per consensus and leaving player who are rated higher by consensus on the board. And the results are clear. His reaches are not working out at all. And leaving good prospects on board when he reaches.

Telesco has reached for prospects like Mager who was a 5th-7th/udfa Telesco spent #83 on him in 3rd Rd. Go look at anyone's top 100 and that guy is not in it
Zadarius Smith-Edge was a top 100 prospect on most boards And he was on the board to select. And there are about 15 other players that were consensus better top 100 and would have done better than Mager.

It is a pattern of reaching and then not resigning your own when you do get a good one like Hunter Henry.
    TT reaches:

    Mager
    Fluke
    Teo
    Tillery
    Pip
    Tuerk
    C. Watt
    Attaouchu

Hopefully, Staley steers TT away from poor picks like these...

For me, his biggest failure has been his inconsistency in Rounds 3 and 4. I get that Rounds 5-7 might be a crap shoot. But those two rounds, thats how you build low cost depth where you hope some of those players get a second contract with the team.

Id have been happy with Burrow too. In fact i wanted him more but not willing to trade the farm to move up.. Just didnt want Tua and his injury concerns.

Lynn and Mccoy contributed and were part of those questionable picks by TT. It's great to have a coach who knows what he's doing.

Even though I didn't write that specifically above - -that is part of the problem in those 2 rounds besides the actual picks. He has traded away three in the 4th round and one in the third - for Murray.

Just looked on OTC.com - back to having 1 extra in the 6th and 3 extra in the 7th

Big back and forth post game debate on the Cincy fan forum game day thread on that topic.

Burrow advocates were saying that Herbert just sits back behind his great protection and lobs jump balls to receivers.

His great protection? Hahahahahaha! I love Keenan Allen and Ekeler but there is no contest top to bottom that I'd rather have the Bengal skill players (aside from the QB) as a whole over ours.

Mayock is ok but though it seemed he drafted pretty well.,. Ferrell isn't even starting there anymore. Abrams though better this year, has been awful for the most part.

They already traded Bowden, cut Isiah Johnson, Leatherwood was a reach and playing OG, their 2 high drafted CBs are gone Arnette and Conley though not sure Mayock drafted Conley.

Key and Hurst are gone. Colton Miller has been just ok. Ruggs is going to jail.

His best picks imo are Crosby and Renfroe.
Jacobs has been pretty decent but injured this year and a few others are contributing on the OL and secondary like Hobbs, Mullen.

Mayock needs to be relieved of duties.

Jeremiah is not the answer for LAC.

And if the Chargers do not make the playoffs - pretty obviously Telesco isn't either
Hell I would argue he isnt no matter what because
