especially with the early good word on Dotson, who might have a similar skill set as Ekeler.
Taylor looks like a true workhorse. Injury risk perhaps.
Taylor is only 24 so that is a plus. Still gonna have to pay him after this season,... which clearly won't be easy by his standards. Or let him walk as a FA and get a comp pick which won't be very high since RBs aren't getting paid.
I wouldn't mind trading Ekeler for him straight up but clearly Ekeler isn't going to get paid by Irsay either so that will piss him off.

Taylors cap hit this year is a bit lower than Ekelers though.

Not expecting a thing from Dotson. He just may beat out Rountree for the PS.

Ya I figure we're not extending or re signing Ekeler anyway, so Taylor wouldn't necessarily be part of the plan after this season. It really depends on what Moore says/wants.
Irsay just came out saying he's not trading Taylor.
but maybe he reconsiders if offered the NFLs TD leader.
Colta need to score TDs and we need to evolve our offense.
      G-Ro knows.

There’s some early good word on Dotson? Do tell?

I'm forgetting who said it but apparently on day 1 he was described as running great routes, catching well and moving faster than the other depth backs including Rountree.

When he’s healthy Taylor is a absolute beast and can catch as well. Dude is the real deal.

Agreed . . . . . . . . when healthy he's the best back in the league. It will most definitely hurt Indy not to have him, particularly if their options are to start Minshew (career backup), or a rookie. Both of those QB's need a solid run game.

                Maybe Irsay should have kept his mouth shut . . . . . . . . .

Taylor for Eckler? Comparable cap hit? Where do I sign????? I like Eck but he's not in the same league as Taylor . . . . . . . . . . . not even close

Irsay says he’s not trading him.

Jerry Jones say Zach Martin better get in camp or there will be consequences.

Yeah, after the Rams saw he had zero explosion left.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
