And who are the 2 QBs you think of when they are so smart and see what defense is coming and switch the play at the line? Manning and Rivers. QBs with these smarts don't grown on trees, I think there will be a decent demand for Rivers, he can pick and choose where he'll want to go with multiple teams wanting his smarts and leadership.

There's a popcorn factor in all this foolish speculation. Selling seats with a sensational and possible over the hill QB brought in. This was tried decades ago by bringing in Johnny Unitas at the end of his career. It was kinda sad if memory serves. That was then, this is now. This topic pretty much never needed to have been speculated about.

However, if the right fit...remember how the Broncos brought in a Payton Manning who was sorta at the twilight of his career. A SB win happened for them.

Unitas was sad indeed. Two bad knees when he got here. I couldn’t recall how bad, being pretty young then, so i checked his career stats - says he started 5 games, completed 34 of 76 passes (44%) with 7 INTs and 3 TDs. Ouch. Brady wouldn’t be that bad, but its a go-nowhere splash move - i don’t see the point.

I disagree, Rivers behind a horrible O line had a better season than Brady in 2019. ( Just like I believe Rivers will have a better 2020 season than old man Brady).
