Good point but, it seems that Herbert likes him and we often see them huddled up when the defense is playing. None the less, it's time to replace him. JH is not a rookie anymore.

What we do know though, is that if your starter gets injured and you have to put him onto the football field to actually play some QB, you are in a heap of trouble because he is awful at actually playing the position.

Yep, which is why I said its more than time to move on. One other reality is that there are not even 32 starting quality QBs in the league so even a “good” backup QB is likely either an unproven rookie or a QB who failed as a starter.

Once upon a time we had Drew Brees and picked Philip Rivers.

But could have picked Larry Fitzgerald. Not sure how that would have altered Brees Career, but probably would have done well.

Everybody forgets about Jalen Hurts. He’s from the same class as Burrow, Tua and Herbert. Could be the first one to win a title

Didn’t see Herbert’s shoulder surgery coming. Maybe that’s why he was so ineffective against Jacksonville.

Yeah, JH wasn't elite this year.
BUT....give him health, he'll be back on top.
PLUS, if leadership figures out a way to get him some help, he SHOULD be the best in the business.
Dude just has way too many skills not to be.
