Right now Lawrence is two years behind Herbert on the learning curve and given his mistakes tonight I rank him even below Herbert in football situational awareness. Still a good year to draft QB's but in reality these QB's might not excel beyond 2020s class as a group!

He will still go #1. It's one game and he will be ok in the NFL. Not sure he will have the year Herbert did as a rookie as he will Be in Jax but he will be a good one.

This is the best game I've seen Fields play (not suggesting he has been bad at all) and playing injured showed something as well. The Jets my pass on Fields or trade the pick which is probably the best thing for them.

Plus Mac Jones would be a good tough New Yorker name! Should they take him at number #3 or move down and hope he's there at 10-15 pick.

Could but Jones, like Tua played with first round rated WRs and had wide open targets to throw to. Tua is struggling now though he will get better.

I mentioned that all the time during the college season that Tua's WRs were wide open most of the time..
But Burrow had the same and he was doing well this season so its Just tough to say but the Jets trading the pick would be best off. Darnold has showed improvement and getting a better coach and OL should help.

Picking QBs is tough and Herbert looks nothing like he did at Oregon. I am extremely happy with how he is playing and didn't expect it this early.

Potential trade partners may want to "settle" for Trey Lance, etc.

Jets could start a run on Oline, because of scarcity, and in spite of perceived flaws.
