Davis has the size and speed to keep up with wr1.

And the speed thing is why Casey Hayward is probably being released for me. Can't keep up with KC with older guys

I probably am bringing Harris back though - think he has one more good year

Agree. Harris also played with Renaldo Hill when he was coaching in Denver which is a plus.

Harris did have a few stinker games though...wonder how much of that was his ability, and how much was slacking because Bradley's scheme was so lame and he just started giving up...

We will see next year if it is him or coaching.

A lot will be different in 2021. OTAs and physical training for starts. Some new teammates. Coaching? Nearly a clean slate. HC, OC, DC, STs, Strength, etc.
We won't see many, if any players looking same old, same old. Many will get better and/ or be used more efficiently, some will not.
I'm guessing Harris will get snaps in nickle and play well.

Next year, the way to beat KC will still be to outscore them.
We do not play modern football.

                  That usually works.

Agree we are starving for CBS and Davis is the first one I’d try to retain. Ive read the skeptics on him and i watch all the games too, but he’s still young, he’s long and has speed. He’s had a lot of great plays so the capability is there - need to finish turning him into a consistent pro.

TB had a better defense, KC arguably has a better offense though with top OL out ... it becomes more debatable. It was a blowout. So yeah, based on the huge weakness in the current Chargers DB group ... I could see a CB at 13 too. I’d much rather have Surtain than Darrisaw, for ex. Surtain will be an elite cover DB, Darrisaw could be the next Fluker.

It will also help to get some good cover corners...The Bucs kind of gave us a blueprint on how to beat Mahomes--cover his first and second reads early and well, (including a solid and quick LB to cover Kelce) while bringing the heat--then, contain Patrick when he scrambles, so set the edge...then it's usually either a sack or incomplete...so, note to TT:

                        1. Need cover corners
                        2. Need a solid Edge on the other side of Bosa to bring the heat
                        3. Need another Edge or two in the rotation to keep everyone fresh

                        That is all.

He’s a good #2 corner IMO. And that will be fine if we get a #1 in the draft. Otherwise, we’ll have to hope he becomes a #1 or that Staley’s scheme helps him.
