I see you stirring the pot but even for Kyle Ptts - I still see receiver as a pretty low need. Good player but when you need OT, CB, Edge, another OG; more DL depth based on pending free agents after 2021, a FS, a TE (blocking TE)-- it just seems like that pick is a luxury

exactly - trade down - not too far but would agree - take Darrisaw, Little or AVT.
Hell, if they tape is good - take them at 13.
Walker Little without the injury seemed to be on track of being an R1 pick. And that injury was 2019. So he should be healed.

And he is a true Left Tackle - Walker Little that is. Coaches just need to do the film work and if the tape don't lie - maybe for the Chargers he is a good fit

I don't want to overreach for LT like a Fluker for OT sake. But compare the tape , I like I wrote earlier to a guy like Marcus McNeil - he was a second rounder who worked out okay. That doesn't mean overdrafing 30 slots if the tape isn't there.

Pretty sure he didn't miss a single game in 2019 and 2020. The early injuries were when he was a QB. His experience at QB (understanding offense) is a positive for me.
He's one of the best coverage LB's (behind JOK and maybe Collins... another QB convert). LB coverage skills are lacking with our current group, IMO.
Surratt also has pass rushing ability (12.5 sacks last 2 years). It makes him a versatile piece in nickle/dime. Could help Staley with disguise.

Injuries are injuries but right, he didnt miss any games the last two seasons.

He has pass rush ability but those numbers are a little mis leading. Half are coverage sacks and got some when the QB scrambled. One of his 2 INTs was after tipped ball in the air.

There are things to like and he is still raw as a LB. He plays fast as well. Id draft Jabril Cox over him but as a coverage LB but if thats what we are looking for in a LB he would be on the radar.

Ive no idea how much they want a LB drafted though. I rarely mock one to us as i dont think its a big priority but who knows. Edge and secondary are much bigger needs and we have Murray, White, Tranq and Egbule.

I guess it depends on how they feel about White and Egbule. Maybe they thinking JOK in that role.....idk.
