I never realized how dominant his second level blocking was.
still an OG at this point but that’s not a bad thing.
If we get our LT in FA, AVT will be significantly higher on my Charger specific big board
By no means am I 100% sure that he will stick at LT... I'm no longer 100% sure about anything any more.
But sure as hell would try him there... having a 99.9% chance of excelling at OG.
FA LT's are going to cost an arm and a leg. I'd spend that money and buy 2 high quality FA IOL.

    FA Targets:
OC: Corey Linsley. 2nd option Austin Blythe
OG: Matt Feiler.. 2nd option Ethan Pocic

The beautiful thing about Feiler is that he's a proven RT, too. He could probably take over for Bulaga after a year (cap space).
Put the veteran Feiler next to the rookie LT. Veteran OC next to the rookie RG... the OL would be fixed. Done. Fin! You'd never hear old Nutty bitch again!

    1st: OT Slater/AVT
    4th: OG Moore/Green/Meinerz

34" arms is not considered very long arms...

Bryan Bulaga has 33 1/4 inch arms.

I use 34” as the base metric arm length for OTs in my system.

We still have similar ideas just some differences on the ideal prospects yet some the same.

Linsley, Feiler, Pocic, Green, and Meinerz are all guys I like for us. Two more possible FA Olinemen Ted Karras and Germaine Ifedi that shouldn’t break the bank.

I didn't say I didn't agree with him but what he thinks and what others think don't mean anyone is lazy.
I sure wouldn't draft Dickerson in the first with his injury history but he loves him. Maybe even over AVT.

I also Iike AVT but hope we can trade down a little and get him if other higher targets are gone.

A lot for me depends on FA'cy for those targets and there are players I like and don't want to get too attached to any like Beach does.

And yes, that must have been fun lol.

              Isn't it ironic.
              Yeah, don't draft Slater?

Draft Slater or AVT, which ever guy is there. Just because we were screwed before doesn't mean it can't be ignored. Lady Luck has been fickle before but that stops in 2020. Time for some chicken dinner.

                  Thanks for the nugget, Alanis....

Slater is a great pick at 13...will be a very good player in this league for years, whether it's guard or tackle...

The basis of Bahktiari's technique is using arm length to keep defenders at bay.

People like Slater and Eichenberg must have consistently good technique.

                    1" ... 33" vs 34" can make a big difference.

Good point about Feiler. I just think the Steelers will find a way to keep him - even if they release David DeCastro

Blythe is up there as a substitute for Linsley because he can play both guard and center. So hypothetically, if Telesco drafts Creed, Blythe can play OG, if he drafts a player like Davis, he can play OC.
