If Badgley or Vizcaino (whoever they keep) struggle early on, Pineiro should be on the short list of guys to call in for a try out and potential replacement. He’s a decent kicker when healthy but has had some trouble staying healthy.

Preferably Badgley or Vizcaino can show some consistency though and hold down the spot.

Also I would like to add some positivity:

This draft looks like it added 4 starting quality guys (Slater, Samuel, Palmer, Jaimes) and 3 depth/teams guys who may not have starting NFL traits (Rumph/Rountree/Niemann). Webb is a developmental guy so grade is incomplete for a couple years. McKitty looked bad on draft day, bad after draft day, and still bad today.

That's a solid foundational draft the year after getting Herbert.

Feiler and Fackrell are looking like Goff/Godfrey level vet contributers (Fackrell a 1 year deal, we should extend). That's not even mentioning Linsley.

There's a lot reminding me of the 2004 era right now.

How many touchdowns has our first half D (minus all our all-star) given up? And might as well take away that Lance TD, that was against two third stringers who brain-farted. Now add in Herbert, Allen, Ekeler, Williams, Cook, Slater, Linsley, Feiler…et al on O. Gee I feel better.
