Still need a really good RT.

The development of Pipkins would be a huge boost to offseason plans. Pipkins or Norton at RT could create better competition which only helps the depth. Jaimes - who knows. Aboushi - if he comes back. That means the OL could theoretically be 7 deep. Always still want more depth of course - but Pipkins, if the play is sustained, would be huge for RT moving forward.

Pip actually looks better at LT than RT...

My take on Pipkins is that he can be relied on to fill in quite competently on occasion, when needed, but he's not going to be a guy you can depend on to be consistent, to play at a high level every week like a Rashawn Slater. Am I wrong?

Sounds about right...especially if the Bolts give Pip some chipping and blocking help...

I still have a hunch that Pipkins is better as a LOT than he is at ROT. In other words, don't get your hopes up too high for him being our RT next year. That would be a real good deal for the team though if he can do it.

That might be true but he is not going to play LT. Slater has that position locked down. Swing tackle off the bench maybe. Too cheap to release.

Until Pipkins string together a lot of good games together, you are not wrong. Depth right now until proven otherwise.

Given Jaimes measurements, he’ll be a guard and replace Schofield. We should still draft an RT or get one in FA.

There has to be a good reason our coaches consider Jaimes a G.

Funny how we've elevated Norton now. I still think he's back up.
