Props to Staley and Telesco for making low-key defensive signings
No point in having an elite defensive mind if you’re just planning on breaking the bank for defensive FAs
another positive sign that Staley can coach up journeymen
    Chargers vs. Everyone

      Egbule.
      Fackrell.

There is good processing and football IQ.
      StaleyD traits.
We do not play modern football.

Yes, ST is a pressing need. Let’s see what he can do

Maybe teams are waiting on CB until after the draft. Seems like a flooded market... maybe get a good deal done after draft?
good point ... but still if you have the cap space maybe look for fit over bargain
granted --if they are all the same grade - doesn't matter can wait

Top priority are still LT and CB. Things become more fluid after that with regards to edge rusher, safety, OG, and tight end.

If I had my preference for the 3A and 3B picks it’d probably be Tremble and Hufanga. I really want to see Hufanga in Staley’s defense.

He’s been training with Troy Polumalu.

IMHO chargers are keeping cap space open because they are aiming for Orlando Brown jr. They have passed a lot of talent and it’s not because they’re rolling cap over, it’s because they think they have a good chance at Brown and want to be ready to sign him to a long term deal.

that would be a great add! and would allow us to take BPA throughout draft......

Rolling the dice on Eric Fisher’s not a bad idea either.

”Fisher is a tough player to slot, given that he’ll be spending his offseason rehabbing after suffering a torn Achilles in January. As a point of reference, Eagles guard Brandon Brooks tore his Achilles in January of 2019 and started all 16 games the next season. So Fisher being healthy by Week 1 of 2021 is not out of the question. He has 113 career starts and is a two-time Pro Bowler. Demand outweighs supply at left tackle, meaning Fisher should still have a strong market, despite the injury.”

I've been joking about it and teasing it since day 1 of his tweet but I really do think this is the target and I wouldn’t be (too) surprised if this leads up to draft day.
if Slater isn’t there, we cave and end up swapping firsts and then some.
I have to believe there is a plan for LOT beyond hoping our guy is there at 13 or 47.
I think we end up overpaying (perceived) initially but he ends up in lightning bolts and has a great career here with us.

                        Im speaking it into reality

This Fackrell looks like a good deal. He was the NYG starting OLB last year. Just need a LT and a CB now but LT is a really big need. Maybe a FA LT then into the draft for BPA but w LT and CB a priority.
