Teams do not make the playoffs if they do not win.

Teams do not win if they repeatedly have a chance to step on the necks of their opponents and blow those chances with poor play calling, allowing opponents chance after chance to beat them, chances that our opponents should not be getting.

That has cost us one win and could easily have cost us all of our wins in addition to the win that turned into a loss in KC. All four games were games that we should have won going away.

Also, I do not get how a person of Staley's purported intelligence does not consider who the opponent is when considering what approach to take in terms of the decision to punt or not punt versus CLE. When the analytics models are split because it is a close call without factoring in game specific information, the commonsense game specific information should absolutely be the deciding factor.

The bull pin sucked last season. This season it is much better. New faces and experience for the young guys that are still here. Keep Stammen the HR server and Morjon off the mound who has sucked lately.

Will it happen in the lifetime of posters here? We've been talking about winning the big one for years, but the team never gets anywhere close. Not ever since Rivers played on a injured leg. If the team can at least make it to the big game, that will be a big accomplishment.

I would think the die hard trenchers and the JH10 superfans would love Staley. He said priority 1 is being a line of scrimmage team and building a line for Herbert to succeed. And he is doing exactly that. 2 drafts and Rd1 is premium beef both times. And he upgraded his DL as well in free agency and spent a Rd2 pick for Mack. This type of plan to add premium talent to line of scrimmage absolutely helps Justin chances of winning a Superbowl under Brandon Staley.

Nitpicking his aggressive style is completely fair.
But i am a big fan of him being different when the entire football world is saying fold, And he pushes the chips all in and says No, stop us, we are going to end the game now with the ball in our hands.
