Staley has been schooled by every single decent coach we’ve faced this season but he doesn’t seem to be learning anything g at all. Beaten like a red headed step child in the third quarter again
He has a hell of a lot to learn, given his 5 years of competitive football experience.
But does John Boy really do the work to draft JT Woods in R3 or Brandon Jaimes in Round 5. Granted, he is in the room so thas a problem
and look at the players lost: Bosa, Slater, the WR, the DTs - who have replaced them - all practice squad players. Has hte guy who replaced Bosa even made a tackle.
I mean zer productivity. It starts with Dean and Telesco to me
As for STaley - three plays last night
not running FORWARD with Ekeler before the half
not running a QB on that 4th and inches
not getting the defense off the field on that 3rd and 17. I knew that was the game
How much influence John Boy has is always speculative.
Given his title, he is Telesco's boss.
Who organizes the scouting department and hires the scouts.....I would guess its Telesco.
Staley, for some reason, has had a big influence on personnel. Where has he ever demonstrated an eye for talent?

Telesco doesn't know how to build a roster - thats for sure
So if he is in charge of scouting - its a mish mash or something
The Ravens seem to find players that fit what they want to do. Telesco has never been able to have an identity for the offense or defense.
And another thing - Telesco has never drafted speed. He just is terrible - I can't stand his arrogance too.

He drafts speed: the 4.5+ type
One legitimate sub 4.5 guy on offense
Keenan allen,
Mike Williams,
Josh Palmer,
Melvin Gordon,
Justin Jackson,
Marion Grice,
Isaiah spiller,
KJ Hill,
Josh Kelley Tevin Reece,
Hunter Henry (4.72),
Dylan Cantrell
I know speed isn't everything; but Jehoshaphat, you think more than one would fall through the cracks after 10 drafts.
And tevin reece was very small with bad hands.

speed isn't everything but if the guy can catch the ball and run fast - thats a nice combo to have
I am just so ready for the guy to go

To think John Spanos tells Telesco who to draft is laughable.
Me too! But I'm just afraid of what we're going to get. Same old first time, cheap GM. Or worse yet, Maybe John boy takes over as GM
That is the alternative.... Granted, the one time they hired a very experienced coach, Marty - team was pretty damn good
Not that they would pay for Sean Payton but I can see him going to a team and be like Andy Reid
The Grand Poobah
Head Coach, GM, Player Personnel - hires good people but runs the show
