Me too, brother! That team really is stacked all over the place. They just have a scrubby QB situation and Fangio has yet to be an effective HC. He is sort of like a defensive version of Norv Turner (but a lot crustier and grumpier -- don't kick the ball in his yard, because you ain't getting it back and he gives pennies wrapped in tin foil at Halloween)

I don't want that either. But Patrick Mahomes started an ARMS race in the AFC West. Russell Wilson restated his allegiance to Seahawk Football yesterday. However, make peace with the idea of Rodgers in Denver.

The Packers have Jordan Love and they are even talking about franchising Davonte Adams for 2022.

I agree/side with Hub Arkush on Rodgers.

Bigger Picture: I welcome Rodgers to Denver, because I have a firm believe that steel sharpens steel.

Rodgers to Denver will never happen imv. Those 16th season means nothing today imo.
Farve was never a MVP candidate in his 16th season and was an INT machine.

Right now it doesn't necessarily seem so bad. Is there any D in the AFC West who would beat the hell out of a QB?

It's competitive vs the other QB, but the defenses, while they all have some talent are not exactly intimidating.

why would rodgers want to blow that up? He’s got management listening to him now which is what he wanted. Now they have to consult with him in what they do with personnel, he’s already there, he owns the division, he knows the system and the coaches. I just can’t imagine him leaving, he just wanted the brady treatment and I don’t think he’s wrong in thinking he’s earned it. Wherever he goes he’ll have to learn a new offense or at the least acclimate to new management and new teamates. Maybe he leaves but something tells me he’ll retire a green bay packer.

Official. Fangio is fired. He will have his choice of plum jobs as a DC. Will be highly sought after. And for those pining for him here it ain’t going to happen. No way Staley cedes the level of control it would take on defense or fires/demotes Hill so soon. And blaming Hill is blaming himself because this is his defense and he called the plays. And besides I don’t think Fangio wants to come.
