That's why I'm not a GM (among a million other deficiencies). I don't get to sit around and keep track of the players on all the other teams like the team's staff does. They should have an idea of who could become available. And yes, finding an ORT is not an easy job.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

The only season the Chargers ever went to the Super Bowl, they were 0-4 in the pre-season. And that's not some "outlier" event, because winning or losing in the preseason doesn't count for anything.

If you're "playing to win" in the pre-season? You're probably playing your better players to get that done, which means you aren't getting a look at any progress your lesser players might be making, or where they need help.

There have been times the Chargers rolled to a 4-0 record during the pre-season, only to follow with an abysmal regular season. So let's stop pretending that what happens on the field in the pre-season games accurately forecasts the season ahead.

          2021 #2 passing offense, #5 scoring O. You suck! There's the door!

I don't care if the Bolts win in exhibition games. My concern is that they always use their September games as their preseason games. Hopefully Staley changes that. We cannot afford another bad start to the season.

I said it the days Zion and Salyer were drafted. Feiler to RT week 1 because Pipkins won't be good enough in camp.
Storm is 28 and a backup at best.

Does anyone know if Chargers tried out combo of Zion RG with Salyer RT?

                Could be simple solution :stirringshit:

You mean like last year when they started 3-1?

I definitely agree with you, but that's what is so puzzling about the FA moves. A guy like David Quessenberry, who is from SoCal, had an 80 PFF grade at RT, last year and only signed a $1.3 million deal seems like someone the Chargers should have brought in. You can have high hopes for Norton and Pipkins, but why not bring in some real competition for them? He didn't sign until just before the draft. It's not like the Chargers had to make him a priority.

Doesn't seem likely. Salyer us a beast in a phone booth. His movement skills aren't looking good. He may improve but he's an OG right now

Doesn't matter. They obviously did not play like they practiced. 0-3 in PS.
Clearly why we did not win the SB.

I stand corrected, they did start strong and faltered after that.
