Regarding the kickoff return…..the glaring problem is our kicker couldn’t hit it long enough into the end zone. We’ve had this problem in the past where our kicker’s leg is too weak. This is deja-vu all over again.
Or they were intentionally kicking it short to get the KO teams some work.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

They probably should make a decision about now as to who will start: stick them together in preseason game and practices.

      Maybe they already have!:hello:

2 scrimmages, 1 game. And we played poorly 2 out of 3.

it’s not about winning, it’s about playing well. Something is wrong here.

Doubt he does but his guys do and he selected them and ultimately he’s responsible for how the whole team plays. I mean he fired last year’s st coach to bring his guy in and gave up two very long returns last night. That’s a red flag

Those pining for Payton for next season, dont hold your breath. Staley isnt gong anywhere after 2 seasons. So weird the panic around here. Hardly any starters ....if nay have played and the sky is falling for some here.

                You are so correct.
LAC RB#2 is my #1 concern at this moment.
I do hope Staley's "no loud voices allowed in the library" tone is because he knows he must cut some people he likes.
There are plenty of professional NFL RBs out on the street I like and want to sign.
Yep....and i liked Jackson but again, he is hurt too often. The OL wasnt very good last night so that contributed to a shit run game and Spiller hurt his leg or ankle on his first carry.

                  If you don't have hands,
                  you are useless.
There was also a blatant DPI non call.
                  Officials in midseason form.
                  Not trying to excuse Stick,
but he is about what we can expect for a backup.
                  Both our backups suck.

IDK if they wait til next offseason but id go after Minshew in FA'cy or trade for him now and cut Stick and keep Daniel only for his coaching presence then let him walk after the season. Or cut both. Daniel had more batted balls than completions lol. Sure seemed that way anyways. He is under 6'.

I ve read that Philly really likes Minshew but he is a backup so offer up Tillery and a pick.....or some sort of package.

Justin Herbert is going to swoop down from the sky like Superman week 1, and then it will be on with this season!
The Bills and Chiefs played their starters.....we havent and wont.

Justin Jackson is better than any of the RB 2’s auditioning and it’s not close. He couldn’t stay healthy for us tho so his talent didn’t help us all that much. But there have to be better alternatives out there

It’s just sitting there waiting for Spiller to grab it and he goes out with an ankle injury right off the bat. Smh

My "good vibrations" theme is kaput. You just know JJ will stay healthy now for Dan Campbell. That dropped pass by Kelley last night changed my tune. It is now Ek--Spiller--Rountree--Horvath--FA.

                          Until next month.
