On third downs we are constantly running routes a yard short of the sticks. Just stupid. Lombos screens suck, no imagination or development in them. The routes make it easy for the other team, they should be making it difficult.
This O is just terrible. Time to go Lombo.

Yes and no. Lombardi runs all his plays at the same depth, most short of the end zone or 3rd down marker. Other teams run multiple depths and spreads. Lombo makes it easy on the players to defend. That is opposite of what he should be doing.
