Actually, we'd have a better chance of winning if Wiz were to be given his walking papers. Nothing MG does would have prevented PR from throwing into coverage or Wiz calling rotten plays.

The only thing would be if he generates more yards in fewer plays, minimizes the exposure of Whiz calling dumb plays and Rivers being in the position to throw dumb. Problem with that is Ekeler is like 5th in the league in combined yards from scrimmage. Top that, buddy.

We lost the last two games due to a lack of offensive success in the 2nd half. Gordon will help the offense. That is not an indictment on Ekeler or Jackson at all. But Gordon will be an additional play maker for an offense that is short on play makers right now.

Melvin Gordon in my opinion is good but not elite. He gets tackled too easily. Chargers fix line issues they are better.
For some reason he's one of the best after contact, but shoe string tacklers bring him down easily, or he loses balance and trips over his own feet at times.

He's great in the passing game both blocking and catching. And he is very good at protecting the rock. Not elite, but still a top 10 RB.

While I don't think he'll be a detriment, I cant say I'm excited for his return. I believe our issues run much deeper.

We need to use him as much as possible to save Eke and JJ for the postseason when MG inevitably goes down.

MG III in 2018 ran with more power.
This was not the same old MG III, after AL flexed his biceps at Mel.
Previously, TPB said the issue was dollars much more than talent level.
It sure sounds like y'all are moving the goalposts.

Prepared to be disappointed, my friends.

MGIII @ RB w/Ekeler @ WR is going to open up our offense.
The Oline won't seem so bad.
Defenses will be spread out now.
We are about to go on a run of consecutive wins.

I didn't think MG III was gonna play this week butnow that I see JJ on the injury report he may very well go.

with travis possibly out-he hurt his hip dropping a game tying TD without being touched-we may see Ek in the slot.

I know he doesn't play this week but I was hearing something about a two week roster exemption. I hope that doesn't mean he misses the next game as well as this one.

With the way this OL pass blocks... I'd be fine with MG getting 25 carries, Ek getting 20 carries, and JJ getting 15 carries. Hell, run the wishbone!
