Colts at San Diego AFCCG 2006, would of love to of seen it, if the Colts who we seemed to own for years beat us they would have of deserved it. Unless we Chargered

that year not much "chargering" until the PO, and then everyone's sphincter got super tight.

Carried them where? You wanna say he made marginal teams slightly less marginal, okay. But he has not made a career out of being a difference-maker on this team, unfortunately.

What happens when we are picking outside the top 10 next year, and there are 3-5 QB needy teams in front of us? If Rivers or Tyrod are QB, we will likely be a solid team next year...healthy with some added talent at FA and high draft picks, we could easily swing back into the playoffs, or at least be around .500...Lynn is not tanking, he has something to prove. So how are we gonna pick up Bryant then? Trade away our first round picks thru 2025? Or what if Bryant regresses and kinda sucks...or blows out his achilles or shoulder or something....what is your plan then?

Nobody but fans make plans based on draft picks over a year away....
          If i was GM:

Trade back from #6 to around 15-25 add another 1st in 2021
Trade back from #37 to around 50-60 add another 2nd in 2021
          Draft trenches 2020
2021 trade what ever picks are needed to get #1

          Yup i am a fan.

Did Rivers sell his house in SD ? I thought I read he normally works out in FL this time of year.

Yeah.....our chances will still be low. What if we wanted Burrow this year? We can offer the moon from #6 and if the Bengals don't want to trade, it don't matter. Miami has the picks this year but if the Bengals won't trade,.. ...don't matter.

Funny thing, trades only work when the other teams want to dance.

Ive seen bellycheat call his defense over when they had a 2nd half 30 point lead but were getting sloppy tackling on a few plays losing focus.......... he reminded them to get focused and they shaped up and continued the onslaught...... they did not let the other team come back and get points, let alone win..... like chargers have historically done......
The sad part about this, is I watched “A football life” with Schotty. It showed a scene of him before the game telling players to fall down and not be a hero if they get a game changing INT.

Nope...they burried him with subpar offensive lines the last decade. Once The line degraded and superman left the team, plus gatesy in real decline, we became a mediocre huck and chuck it down field for a few big gains here and there. No real team chemistry and drive on a consistent basis.

Blue also thought Brees was a terrible QB. Now, just like then, no one player can overcome the deficiencies around him if they are too many holes.

What the biggest difference between Rivers and Mahomes ?
                        1- Mahomes is much younger
2- Mahomes has a better OL
3- Mahomes is able to bye time with his legs

Carried the 2013 collection of garbage to the playoffs. Would have carried the 2014 collection of garbage to the playoffs again if he didn't rupture back discs from repeated abuse for lack of protection.
