Hmmm. This has the potential to create an opportunity for us, meaning someone may want to jump NE and trade up with us for Jones. Maybe we can even squeeze a round 2 from NE to move up two spots.
QB feeding frenzies are good...for US...every QB-hungry team salivating at the thought of drafting the next Herbert...yep, time for TT to play hardball...

To move down 2 spots and get another round 2 would be incredible. That being said, incredible usually does not happen to us.

Also, is anyone else leery of Walker Little being 2 YEARS removed from playing a snap of football??? The potential bust factor here makes it feel like a Pipkins reach IMHO, especially when you have to look to 2018 for meaningful game tape. Built for it?? Yes.....Intelligent??? Yes...... Potential to blow up and be topic fodder for years to come???? Yes.......

Oh yes, lets hope these QBs move up the draft board. Still can trade down from 13 like you said
still want to move one of those 6th or 7th rounders as part of a trade to a 5th rounder
not more picks - just more in the first five rounds.
So if the normal trade value was say the Chargers 13th pick for a teams 1st and 3rd - maybe throw in the 6th to get a teams 5th

If the Seattle game showed anything yesterday - it starts up DAMN FRONT

The Rams DLine dominated that game. The Seahawks OL was terrible

Telesco - fix these two!!! Enough

High info poster and draft savant ninja sees low to medium risk-reward with this prospect.

IMV ALL OL after Penei have warts. We need day one starters. My questions involve draft/personnel strategy.

          Either...
--back up the Brinks Truck and trade up for Sewell or
--draft others and hope like hell for quick development or
--overpay for UFA(s) to the detriment of our cap health or
--kick the can and hope somebody, maybe Storm Norton, Cole Toner or Trey Pipkins surprises the shit out of us.

Sewell appears to be a can’t miss prospect (and we know there is really no such thing) and while I’d love him protecting Herbert for the next decade, we have enough holes to fill that I’d vote for number 2.

Sprinkled throughout this whole big mess are men not named Sewell who can play RT or LT and they will play it well. We just need to find them this year rather than look with envy at other teams successes.

Little was a high level recruit, playing at a high level at a division I, power 5 college, All PAC12 OT his sophmore year, and projected as a top 10 pick as a Junior, the year he got injured, so he ultimately decided to go back to school after injury...only to have the pandemic pop up, and to believe the season was gonna be canceled, so opted out this year. Pipkens played at Sioux fucking Falls....there is no comparison.

The only thing to be verified with Little is his health/strength/athleticism...has he been working hard all this time? That is all easily testable, and character can be vetted in interviews..and technique is on tape, even early in his career, comparable to anybody in this class.

The TPB makes plans....And Jim Harbaugh laughs...

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

                  Yes and no.
If he passes his medicals then that answers my biggest question.
He is a year and half removed from the ACL now, 2 years by start of season, so should be good to go.
zi want to see him compete in agility drills at the combine and proday.
He has 1 bad game (ND) on tape but had a great recovery, allowing 0 sacks/7 pressures, in the final 9 games before injury.
He’ll probably get moved down a round for your raised questions.
1st round talent in the 2nd round. I’d definitely take that risk if he checks all the boxes during the process.

Sitting at 13 the odds of a top 8-10 prospect falling to us is good.
If the prospect(s) would improve the team, then drafting at 13 makes perfect sense.
If we get offered great value to move back and acquire more draft capital, this also makes sense.
Moving up will probably be costly and therefore unlikely.

At various points during the early part of the draft, there will be runs on certain positions.
                      QB. OL. DB. WR. EDGE.

Predicting this and not getting left hanging, maybe even making just the right trade, would serve us well.

I keep seeing a clump of OL, late round one-early round two...let's get two of them.

It is always possible the very best blue chippers are all gone at 13...certainly would entertain trading back at that point...we will just have to see...the run on QBs 3 thru 5 could happen right on top of us...wouldn't want to miss out if all the stars are gone.
