Not if he's your star punter for the next decade that you can actually use as a field placement weapon. If he's that good I would even burn a late second rounder on him. But then again Staley goes for it on fourth down so often how much use would we have for him. LOL!

Who do you trust to get us out of 3rd and 4 on our 20? Herbert or Ty Long? Having a top quality punter, one that can be depended on to flip the field changes the formula. Long needs to be replaced. Better than avg would be nice. NFL best would be nicer.

It’s positional value and the uncertainty that comes with it. For example, if you pick an RB these days in the high first round, he better be the second coming of LT or AP to make it worth it. But more than likely he won’t. A punters value is even lower compared to an RB simply because of perceived impact. He also plays less snaps when your offense is so potent. I would err on the side of caution and draft one on the third day versus the first two.

I'm not sure the pos value stats embrace best player in a decade pos value, but if it pushes Arizza down and he is available with our 3rd rd pick, Take him. His level of talent isn't available at any price anywhere else.

from the veterans as he destroyed punt return coverage and just blew everybody away.

Point is, if you want to flip you special teams play, invest in talent.

Arazia SHOULD be available day 3, if not then Camarda from Georgia. I cannot use a day 2 pick on a punter.........round 6 with all of our comps is a solid spot to pluck one.

No way Araiza gets to day 3. We need to shop FA for a decent P if we pass on him.
