And this change in philosophy probably had something to do with the early season defensive struggles. I think Bradley’s defensive approach is too rigid and not very adaptable to the available talent. I think he is certainly a legit defensive coordinator, but he is overly limited to certain type players he needs for his defenses to be good.
Was it last week’s game that got you thinking the defense is playing better or was it the 27 the Bills put up on them the week before?

I think Bradley is uncreative and predictable, and his banner years in Seattle were underpinned by a Seahawk defensive squad full of all star talent. He’s the Norval Turner of defensive coordinators.

Gus defense works much better with a dominant defensive line, something he doesn’t have here.

hence why gus needs to learn to adjust. he made the great adjustment to start the PO game a couple of years ago. but the ravens almost came back in the 2nd half with a QB that could barely chip the side of a barn tossin the ball if the barn stood in front of him (at that time).

LOL!! Great point. I guess my bar has gotten a bit low with some of the second half defensive meltdowns to compare it against.

Doesn’t every defense work better that way?

Yes, which points out the obvious flaw of trying to run a D that we don't have the players to do. Losing James and Tranq has hurt us - but they have nothing to do with the line.

                  Today's Falcons game.
6 of 7 players all starting today from Lynn 1st draft class.
This is his senior class in year 4.
Williams, Lamp, Feeney, Jenkins, Tevi, Rochelle

                  His Juniors are mostly injured.
His Sophomore class sucks so far.
His 2 star freshman look good. Especially the franchise QB.

I'm giving him a mulligan because his sophomore and juniors are giving him nothing.

It is obvious. Lynn is NOT HC Material . He is the worst coach in the league hands down.

That last sequence. He should be fired tonight

He should have been fired at half time. Seriously, he is just in over his head and it’s just now painful to watch him flounder.

Cruel what they’re doing to him. Like letting a fight go on too long. Lynn is out on his feet
