Can’t believe he just said in the presser he need to take a hands on approach with the defense.

The fact that nobody has been fired yet shows how little the owner cares about the fans and putting a winning product on the field. And before anyone flames me for overreacting, yes, losing four straight leads of 16 points and taking Ls in three of those games (when the rest of the NFL combined has lost four such games all season) is grounds for someone getting canned. It doesn't have to be Lynn, but why does Gus still have a job with the way his defense has hemorrhaged points late in games over and over again?

"Over the next ~23 minutes, the defense allowed Drew Lock to score 28 points. Again, this is the same quarterback who threw four interceptions and ZERO touchdowns over the previous two games. The Chargers let Denver score on FOUR second half drives, including the game-winner, completing their biggest blown lead of the season."

Kyle Shanahan was 10-22 his first two seasons and lost 9 of those games by one score.
Sean Payton from 2014-2016 went 7-9, 7-9, 7-9 and lost 15 one score games over those 3 seasons.
If you spin it and say combine those 5 season from Kyle and Sean and you have a record of 31-49 with a combined 24 losses by one score.
Tomlin of Steelers were 8-8 last year with 5 losses by one score.
There are peaks and valleys sometimes and all coaches can find themselves at the wrong end of close games in certain seasons. And during bad seasons, they pile up.
Even some of the consensus better HCs can drop a lot of close games. If that has now become a TPB fact that losing too many close games equals horrible HC, then Payton was horrible from 2014-2016. And Kyle was terrible in 2017, 2018
And Tomlin was awful last year. And Kyle and Payton should have been fired. Because it was a multiple year problem for them.
And if it's about blowing double digit lead. Kyle did that twice in the Superbowl once as OC and once as HC.
Who has it better than us?

Payton was slightly under .500 (13-17) in one score games during the cherry picked three seasons you raised. He went 3-5 in 2014, 5-5 in 2015, and 5-7 in 2016 in one score games. All of those seasons featured two one score losses in the first three games of the season followed by Payton leading the team to comparatively better one score results as the season progressed. Payton also had led the Saints to 5 playoff appearances and a Super Bowl championship in the 7 seasons leading up to his three year playoff absence, a.k.a. your cherry picked seasons.
Tomlin was 6-5 in one score games last season and has followed that up by going 7-0 so far this season, including going 4-0 in one score games.
Shanahan took over a 2-14 team and went 2-5 in one score games his first year followed by 4-4 in such games the next year. His team was clearly getting better.
None of your cherry picked examples even remotely resembles Lynn's 2-9 in such games last year followed by 1-5 in those games this year. Those situations are not even close to the crapfest that is Anthony Lynn.
And it is sad that you cannot even cherry pick examples effectively.
