I think coaching decisions/performances can be judged reasonably well independent of result or knowing all factors involved, it's just easier to assume a choice was good/bad based on a result.
I count a number of times we got a first down thinking, "glad that worked because that was a shit playcall"

LOL - yup very hard to tell. On the 4th and 1 on the first drive of the Seahawk game where Eckeler ran into the wall and was stuffed looked like a shaky call. But Eckeler said after the game he had an option to go outside if the inside was clogged up and he made a bad read and ran into the pile. He would have been one on one with a corner if he had busted it outside and I like that matchup a lot.

99 times out of 100, in this offense and behind this line, our RBs should take the option to go outside to pick up a yard or two.

I realized this weekend a first...I was thinking about what time the Bolts were on..then I remembered it was a bye week...but you know I was not that excited anyway. I realize this is the first time I am losing interest in the Bolts due to the coach. Every time I see his mug on the sideline or in a press conference(don't really watch now) it just bothers me. I actually dislike everything about him. 95% of it is the 4th down stuff. Just really bothers me. And it impacts my excitement level about the Bolts and the season. In my nightmare we make it to the playoffs or higher...then lose the game due to a 4th down call.

That did not even happen with Mike Riley. Bummer.

I hold out hope every season but this year we have looked like shit from game 2 on.This is a poorly coached team and it is painfully obvious the further this season goes.

There is that entertainment factor. LOL! I'm thinking they revamp the coordinator positions before they fire him.

Staley is the DC, the only way to revamp that position would be to fire him! So lets keep it very simple, no playoffs no job with the Chargers.

Some of my frustration has given way to apathy.
I'm actually glad there's not a game on this week, I feel weirdly free.
Hoping for the best but my expectations have been adjusted.

Rooting for Staley and company to shut me the F up.
