He’s no longer available.Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:
- 69-74 record
- 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
- Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure
- 6th worst winning percentage among all active GMs overall
- 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
- Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
- Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games

Only really kicked his senior year at Washington, where he was only 60% on figgies career there...not good...and THAT was all the way back in 2017...then, he kicked around several NFL practice squads for years until he got a shot with the Niners, when he did kick 3/3 figgies in one game at the end of the season last year...seems every team where he goes, they must get wowed by his strong leg, but still has accuracy issues...not a large, consistent, body of work he's done...agree--if Bolts are so high on him, send him to PS to hone his craft, but get an experienced NFL kicker in the meantime...Hopkins, Lambo, etc....
Having faith in Vizzy - putting him on the PS - is not a bad thing. He like you said, can hone his craft. The Chargers give themselves a guy who might be better.
This talk about a year early is bumpkus. That doesn't mean getting stupid - but strategic small improvements could really help this team.

If so, doesn’t that prescribe more coaching, more in-game opportunities, more practice, and simply just more experience?
I’m definitely not a kicking scout/coach but our staff believes he has the talent and that he just needs time/coaching/experience to be our PK of our future.
For all those complaining about his kickoffs, the short KOs are called plays to try to limit the opponent’s starting position. Track the hangtime TV puts on these kickoffs. TV’s leg would allow him to put the ball into the stands if that was the called play.
Fucking relax people. If we had given up on every raw first year player after 6 games how many good players would we’ve missed? My 2021 Adopt-A-Bolt List
