6th round rookie. He had a nice long run called back as well. He wasn't my choice as a drafted RB for us but he gets to show as a second year player. No rookies should be on a list as whipping boys til after a few years. Kelly isn't even a whipping boy but he sure has a lot to prove. Just don't think he has THE NFL goods.

You also left off MW who many here loved to chastise til he got more opportunities and showed he is a good WR and can do more than go deep and do jump balls. Many wanted to trade him before last season.

Some simply have to pick on someone. They aren't happy without someone to be their whipping boy. Currently, it's Tillery. I think we're often just itching to see some player that gets cut and then we can say I knew he wasn't a good pick.

          You are probably right.

Staley: You'll be here the whole summer?
            Mack: Yeah
Staley: See that's the thing bro
            Mack: I'm locked in

Can we add Donnie Edwards (ankle biter), Clinton Hart (Trumpy's boy) and Storm Norton

Thanks for bringing up Clinton Hart :wtf2: I had actually purged him from my memory - until now . . . .

PFF’s top 3 players on team

                      LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
                      Player Experience
                      QB Justin Herbert 3rd season
                      Edge Joey Bosa 7th season
                      Edge Khalil Mack 9th season
The Chargers are one of the most difficult teams in the NFL to do this exercise for because they’ve amassed a lot of star power over the last few years. Leaving off Derwin James, Rashawn Slater, Corey Linsley, J.C. Jackson and Keenan Allen feels wrong.

However, Herbert was PFF’s fourth-highest graded quarterback in just his second season, navigating the tricky balance of avoiding negatives while also having the ability to make plays that most other quarterbacks in the league can’t. In addition, Bosa and Mack form the league’s top edge duo. Both were top-five players at the position entering 2022 in PFF’s latest edge defender rankings.

Also considered: S Derwin James, LT Rashawn Slater, C Corey Linsley, CB J.C. Jackson and WR Keenan Allen
This team is loaded. This is as talented a Bolt’s team as I can remember.

My prediction again this year. AFC West Champions.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

                        CBS triplet rankings

                        1. Los Angeles Chargers (Avg: 1.8, High: 1, Low: 4)

QB: Justin Herbert RB: Austin Ekeler WR: Keenan Allen

The Burrow-Chase connection figures to be one of the NFL's best for a long time, and was nearly enough to nab Cincy the top spot in our rankings. As you can see from the average rankings and the fact that both teams only received votes between first and fourth, our panel considered these two teams the clear cream of the crop, a step above Buffalo. Herbert's remarkable first two seasons, Ekeler's breakout as maybe the league's best pass-catching running back, and Allen's year-to-year consistency are likely what earned Los Angeles just a single more first-place vote than Cincinnati, and made the Chargers the No. 1 team in this year's Triplets Rankings.

Yes to Hart and Storm...but Donnie did have some redeeming qualities...was decent in coverage...usually...
