I'm with you on Leonard, he's very good on Special Teams. I recall when we carried a WR for several years because of his ST skills.

In year two, Deane has a chance to develop into a "size" Corner depth piece.
We do not play modern football.

DeForest Buckner says he doesn't want to be a part of a rebuild in Indianapolis. Would you trade for him? He's only 29, and he'd plug right in at DT. Run defense, problem solved. Trade Austin Johnson and a draft pick to Indy for him.

He signed a huge contract with INdy; he gets 19.5 million this year

              Chargers can't afford that contract.

Besides, the Colts just restructured his contract this year today.

They could waive D. Leonard, put Jackson on IR, or just not draft a player (& break Boltnut's heart):
that's what it would take if they signed Callahan.

They will not have 7 cbs on the active roster.
Bryce is in the slot, JCJ on IR & your other two are on the bench/STs.... they wouldn't even consider Salyer @RT.... what makes you think they would start Ja'Sir ??

We need to keep him! Must keep the Canadian quota on the squad!

Never know. Vato was absolutely awful as a rookie.

Yep...kind of like Pip...seems like the Bolts draft a lot of these guys that take a while to coach up...

The guy was - what - a 6th round pick? He's almost certainly headed to greatness based on that alone. Career STer, maybe a serviceable backup. But, this is just another example - obviously lost on you - that Telesco doesn't position us well in the depth department, which was really my main point. This team isn't deep enough to lose starters; quality depth - of which Callahan qualifies - is important.
